Did You Know the Knox Caring Cupboard is housed in the basement of the Edenburg Presbyterian Church? The Very active foodbank serves individuals living in the Keystone School District. It is managed by the Knox Ministerial Alliance and coordinated by Esther Pries.

On January 15, 2026, the Knox Caring Cupboard served 43 Households including 46 adults and 23 Seniors. It was a cold, blustering, snow squall, i-80 shut down vehicle pileup day, so our numbers were down, probably due to the aforementioned.

Our Next day for stocking shelves, and food drop-offs, is February 12th, between the hours of 8:00 and 10:00 AM. Distribution will be Thursday, February 19th, from 9:00 until 11:00 AM.

Suggested items for donation include non-food items for personal cleanliness such as shower gel, bar soap, tooth and breath items, or laundry, dish soap, paper towels, bathroom tissue (4 packs), and room fresheners. Cash donations are always welcome to be used for milk, eggs, potatoes, frozen meats, etc. Food items to donate include pancake syrup, granulated sugar, baking sprays such as Pam, creamy peanut butter, canned chicken and tuna.
