About Me

My name is Sarah Sedgwick, and I was born in Hoosier State (IN). My parents still live in the same area I grew up in, along with my older brother, Andrew, and his wife, Katrina. I have been an ordained pastor for 14 years and have served in DuBois and Lewistown. I am a "dog mama" to Bunny, a 5 y/o super mutt.

Education

Bachelor's degree in communications/ public Relations.

Experience in Non-Profit work, Bachelor's level mental health case management, and church youth ministry.

Masters of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2010.

Passionate about revitalizing small churches by connecting them to their community in creative ways.

Fun Facts

I started a "pay what you can" cafe in DuBois that is still open!

I am a "mom" to three children I never gave birth to.

We are involved in many community activities which involve "Horse Thief Days", our Lenten Lunches, "Once Upon A Christmas", our "Very Berry Festival" and "Getting Chili with Edenburg Church" and many other community events.

Together with other community ministerials we host the local "Caring Cupboard. Our church opens our doors every 3rd Thursday of the month from 9a.m. to 11a.m. to distribute groceries and other items for those in need.
